I was wondering if guys can be trained as maids?

    • mm LucyChallenger says:

Hi John! Yes absolutely they can. The term maid, although associated with the female gender, is fast changing – we now see many incredible male housekeepers and maids. We regularly train both men and women in our housekeeper and maid training programmes. 🙂

Hi I would like to enrol in a training course.
Do I have to supply any kind of uniform

    • mm LucyChallenger says:

Hi Stephen, I’ve just sent you an email. We have various courses from private through to group training. We do not provide uniforms, but many of our students wear smart and practical clothing. I look forward to hearing from you.

Ich trage eine klassische Butler Uniform mit geiner gestreiften Weste und Handschuhen und Bundfaltenhose hoffe das ich in diesem Outfit an diesen Kursen teilnehmen kann ?

        • mm LucyChallenger says:

Hello! All our students wear smart clothing that they can train in, but comfortable as our training is often practical! We hope to see you on our training course(s) one day! 🙂

  6. Alice says:

Do they give you the uniform or do you need to buy it?
And what are the uniform components

    • Aafke Meelen says:

Hi Alice, it really depends per job role! In some jobs – for example in most hotels, you will be given a uniform to wear. But some more formal private households would also require their staff to wear uniforms. Sometimes this will be given to you, to use during your work. If you would finish the job, you would return the uniform again!
Some other households require you to wear a certain colour – for example, smart black trousers and a white shirt. This is a common uniform – they would rarely have bright colours, and it will always look formal, and well presented!

Hello, please forgive me for bothering you but I have a few questions. You see I had to drop out of highschool due to physical health issues. Would I still be allowed to attend the school even though I never completed highschool? Also would I be able to have my medications with me? Finally would the uniform be provided or would I have to buy my own, that is if there is a uniform. Again sorry for being a bit of a bother but I was just curious about these things.

    • mm Gabriela Pacurar says:

Hi Jessica, Thank you for reaching out. I’m sorry to hear about your health issues, I hope you’re better now. We accept everyone on our courses regardless of background, and we can certainly accommodate your medication, as this is private training. We do not provide the uniform but we can advise on dress code for the day.
