What was your first ever job in the domestic industry?
It was a groundskeeper at a private estate. A large estate with many acres to care for and look after
What do you love about your job?
Being outdoors, working towards dedicated plans for the management of the land for aesthetic purposes and increasing the biodiversity value of the estate.
Any advice for people looking to enter the industry?
Learn your trade and become multi-skilled. Be prepared to work outdoors in all weather!
Where do you see yourself in 5 years’ time?
In 5 years time, I see myself working long-term as a groundkeeper, doing what I love every day!
