As a nanny do you get paid for overtime? I’ve been asked to do overtime with my employer but don’t know what to say or how much to charge!

Hi Becca. Depending on your contract, this should state if you get paid for overtime. Some families operate an overtime rate, others operate a bonus structure, and others offer time off in lieu. If you are calculating your overtime, you would take your gross annual salary and calculate the pro-rata for the hour/day rate to work out your overtime! I hope this helps! 🙂
