I work for a lovely family and occasionally (very rarely) they ask me to babysit. Should I charge them extra and if so how much?

Hi Becca, This is completely down to you and how you decide to approach things. You can either ask for an hourly rate which is a pro-rata rate based on your annual gross salary, or you can ask for time off in lieu. It depends which you feel would be most suitable for the family you are working for. 🙂
